How could this happen?
Usually, the cause is a single user who has allowed uncontrolled processes to overload the server. We will suspend that user and restore the server to working condition.
Did I do something wrong?
If it was you, your account would be suspended. The person causing the problem will be suspended and get an email from our security team.
My server is down for a long time.
I apologize for the inconvenience. Please check the forums for a post regarding your server. If your server is down for more than a temporary issue, we will post the details.
You may restart your server (container) via the Virtuozzo Power Panel. Your VZ panel will be available, even when your container is down.
Please note that we put a VPS into a cool-down period if it is slamming the server. This essentially shuts down the VPS for 10 minutes and emails the owner. If you have any questions about this, please email [email protected] so we can diagnose the cause.
